Amanda Jelavich LCSW

Amanda Jelavich, LCSW, LSCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the State of Missouri and Kansas. She received a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2013. She’s had the privilege of supporting individuals across a variety of settings—from behavioral health and medical environments to community-based care.

Over the years, Amanda has worked with people navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, substance use concerns, and relationship struggles. Through this work, Amanda has learned that every person carries unique strengths—even when those strengths feel out of reach. She believes therapy should be a collaborative process—one where we build on what’s already within you to help you move forward with confidence, clarity, and hope.

Together, Amanda will create a space that feels safe, supportive, and empowered. She draws on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Above all, she believes that everyone has intrinsic worth, dignity, and the resilience to grow, no matter the difficulty.

Amanda is in-network with Aetna, Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and United Healthcare and provides Superbills for clients out-of-network. She offers both in-person and teletherapy services. She is currently accepting new clients. Free 15-minute phone consultations are available before scheduling.
