Megan’s previous work experience includes engaging with the HIV-positive population, providing behavioral intervention to children and young adults, and supporting individuals transitioning from inpatient hospitalization through home health social work/care coordination. She has a special passion for supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and young adults struggling to find their footing through life’s transitions and challenges.

Megan’s style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. Her approach is grounded in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Bowen Family Systems Theory. Megan is EMDR Trained. She believes effective therapy centers around understanding the internal and external energies, sometimes beyond our awareness, that guide us in both helpful and harmful ways. We all tell stories about ourselves rooted in profound moments in our lives and impactful relationships with others. Through developing a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, we can begin to challenge troublesome narratives and create new stories that better define who you are, in alignment with what you want and need, to promote growth and healing.

Megan offers both in-person and teletherapy services. She is currently accepting new clients. Free 15 minutes phone consultations are available prior to scheduling, as desired.
